Hardware Security

Hardware security is the foundation of trustworthy computing. MEAICON designs hardware-rooted security architectures that establish identity, protect data, and maintain integrity from the silicon level through the full device lifecycle. Our approach ensures that security is built into the platform — not bolted on as software after the fact.

We engineer hardware security for mission-critical edge devices and infrastructure across the region, providing the immutable trust foundation that defence, critical infrastructure, and regulated industries demand.

Overview

Security from the silicon up

Software-based security runs on top of an operating system that can be compromised, circumvented, or quietly subverted. If the trust foundation is weak, every layer built above it inherits that weakness. Hardware security addresses this by anchoring trust in silicon — a TPM 2.0 chip whose keys are generated and stored in hardware, never exposed to the host OS, and whose integrity can be measured and verified at every boot stage.

MEAICON's hardware security practice spans the full device lifecycle: controlled provisioning at manufacture, secure and measured boot enforcement, anti-tamper chassis monitoring, MPC-based key management for complex architectures, and secure de-provisioning at end of mission. No unit is ever left in an unknown state — chain-of-trust control is maintained from power-on through decommissioning.

Capabilities

What we deliver

TPM 2.0 Root of Trust

Hardware-based authentication with identity anchored in silicon. Secure key storage with cryptographic keys never exposed to the host OS, secure boot validation at every boot stage, and platform integrity measurement with continuous attestation.

Secure Boot & Measured Boot

Cryptographic verification of every boot stage. Measured boot recording system state for remote attestation. Chain-of-trust enforced from power-on through runtime, with RTOS hardening and locked-down services minimizing attack surface.

Anti-Tamper Architecture

Chassis intrusion detection with immediate alert. Unauthorized access monitoring at hardware level. Tamper-evident audit trail for forensic analysis, and automated security response triggering lockdown or zeroization.

MPC-Based Key Management

Multi-party-computation key management with virtual HSM. Flexible cryptographic architectures for complex deployments, providing a third configuration class alongside TPM and protected private keys.

Chain-of-Trust Lifecycle Control

Controlled provisioning at manufacture. Secure de-provisioning at end of mission. No unit ever left in an unknown state. Remote attestation proving integrity before trust is established.

Hardware-Isolated Communications

Dedicated SIM hardware module physically isolated to mitigate SS7 attack vectors. Purpose-built communications hardware for all media, with resilient satellite links for denied environments.

How it works

Delivery approach

01

Assess

We evaluate your hardware security posture — identifying trust chain gaps, boot integrity vulnerabilities, key management deficiencies, and physical security risks across your device fleet.

02

Design

We architect a hardware-rooted security framework — mapping TPM integration, defining secure boot policies, planning anti-tamper controls, and designing lifecycle provisioning workflows aligned to your operational environment.

03

Build

We deploy hardware security platforms, configure TPM and boot policies, implement anti-tamper detection, and validate chain-of-trust integrity through rigorous testing at the operational duty point.

04

Operate

Continuous integrity attestation, tamper monitoring, key lifecycle management, and chain-of-trust verification ensure hardware security posture across the full device lifecycle.

Why MEAICON

What makes this different.

  • Vendor-neutral — we do not resell hardware, software, or cloud capacity. Recommendations are shaped by fit, not commission.
  • Consultants with engineering experience — advice is grounded in what is technically achievable, not theoretical frameworks alone.
  • Regional regulatory knowledge across our markets jurisdictions — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt, and cross-border frameworks.
  • Each engagement produces a decision and an implementation plan — not a slide deck that sits on a shelf.
  • Options-based recommendations — we present trade-offs, not a single preferred answer, so your team owns the decision.
  • Experience across enterprise, government, and regulated industries — we calibrate advice to your environment, not a generic best practice.
